Burner Management System

Our new Burner Management System is designed to make your existing oil burner more energy efficient, reliable and easier to control. Having a burner running at optimal efficiency improves production, saves energy and saves money. Achieving the most favourable air/fuel ratio across the working range of the burner is often restricted because of the mechanical design of these parts. This system provides all the control functions for the total management of a burner without any of these dated mechanisms. Removing these mechanical components will give an effective, efficient and trouble free burner. This system is easily fitted to most oil burners.

Effective Burner Controls

  • Simple manual controls easy to use with one touch manual adjustment of the burner fuel injection with clear visual feedback of burner and material temperature status.
  • Automatic temperature control with a powerful PID loop implemented in the PLC system.
  • On screen burner diagnostics tracking the burner ignition cycle and monitoring all the signal feedback from the external sensors, the ABS-BMS produces clear alarm messages to let you know why the burner has failed to ignite or has faulted during service. Quickly diagnose your burner faults and make long costly downtimes a thing of the past!
  • Fuel injection/primary air management PLC controlled proportioning fuel injection and primary air customised for your burner. Allowing the removal of louvres, servo motors, proportioning vales and all linkages to give state-of-the-art electronic control of the combustion process.
  • Customisable setup of your burner the system is fully configurable and has engineering parameters for accurately controlling the timings and ratios to get the most effective and efficient temperature and fuel management for your burner.
  • Managed switchover of different fuel oils the system monitors fuel temperatures before allowing manual switchover of fuel and auto-switch to ensure optimised usage of cheaper fuels. With full on-screen diagnosis, fault finding is made simple. The system tracks burner ignition sequence and photocell output giving alarm messages for common faults and so allowing the operator or maintenance personnel to rapidly locate and fix the problem.
