Asphalt Burner Services success can be contributed to the high quality team of engineers we employ and together with the back-end office staff we have changed the way burners are serviced within the industry.
We are totally independent from any of the manufacturers and as a result of the many years of experience gained within the industry we can service any type of burner.
Our engineers have previously been employed by the likes of Parker Plant, Benninghoven, ACP, and Gencor.
Ian Lewis
Electrical and Mechanical EngineerHaving spent 12 years at Parker Plant, Ian then worked for several major quarrying plant manufacturing companies over a 30 year period, installing and commissioning asphalt plants throughout the UK and Ireland. In 1997 Ian set up his own specialist engineering company serving the industry. Having sourced, engineered and supplied customised electrical and mechanical quarry equipment within the industry, Ian’s management skills, industry experience and engineering knowledge personifies the ABS service.

Richard Coles
Mechanical EngineerRichard carried out his apprenticeship in mechanical engineering at Parker Plant specialising in the production of Parker burners for their asphalt plants. His experience encompassed building the burners through to testing and commissioning. He then went on to work for Benninghoven for a further 6 years as a burner engineer carrying out burner services, installations, repairs and monitoring.

Martin Gandy
Electrical EngineerMartin carried out his apprenticeship in electrical engineering at Croft Quarry AI. He then began working for Parker Plant in commissioning burners throughout the world for 10 years. He went on to work for Benninghoven for a further 5 years as a burner engineer carrying out burner services, installations, repairs and monitoring.

Teresa Lewis
Management, Operations and Personnel DevelopmentTeresa manages the day-to-day operations, and takes a primary role in administration and accounts. Teresa also manages the development programme of our current team as well as organising the training of new service personnel.

Aileen McElwee
Sales and Marketing ManagerAileen joined the company to develop the marketing for Asphalt Burner Services. With the new Vulcan Burner range being launched, Aileen is promoting and raising awareness of the efficiency and how cost effective this new initiative will be to those associated with the Asphalt Quarry industry.

Administration & Accounts AssistantShauna manages the report process and stock control, ensuring that the customer receives their relevant paperwork as soon as possible after the service and monitors stock levels of spare parts in the case of a breakdown.
